Museum Guide

The Palmer Museum of Art is recruiting part-time guides to welcome visitors and introduce works of art from the permanent collection and special exhibitions in its new location at the Arboretum, scheduled to open to the public June 1, 2024. We are seeking dynamic, outgoing individuals interested in art and connecting with people of all backgrounds and experiences. In-depth knowledge of or a degree in art and art history is not necessary. Summer 2024 Internships

 

Penn State graduate students and upper-level undergraduates  contribute to research, interpretation, exhibition planning, project management, and collections care in addition to completing regular department assignments. Recruitment takes place during February of each year.
